My furnace had died and no one could seem to figure out what was wrong. That is until Rick showed up; he kept that old furnace running throughout a very cold winter. He cleaned the furnace and picked up the smallest piece of wire off the floor, he actually left the basement cleaner than it was when he got there. When I saw that I knew we finally had a dependable HVAC professional. March the following year Rick installed a new furnace and A/C system for an incredibly reasonable price. About five years ago we moved and had Rick come out to check the new furnaces and AC. He cleaned it all up, installed a new modern filter that only needs changed twice a year. Fast forward to April of this year when we had that humid 80+ degree day. When I turned the AC on I got nothing. We were expecting company, including an 18 month old baby boy. I wasn’t sure how the baby would react to that heat. It was a Saturday so I got his service when I called. I was desperate so called another company, and the guy didn’t have a clue. Rick called, came right out and had it fixed within 30 minutes. He immediately knew what the problem was and then took care of going over everything else to be sure we’d be good shape. Another beautiful job at a great price. Simply put R.H. Barkley does an amazing job and has a top notch work ethic. Rick's knowledge and attention to detail is always welcomed and appreciated. My Furnace broke after 25 years on the coldest week of the year, Rick was able to replace with a new unit in a very short time frame. The team worked early in the day till late at night to make sure my wife and I had proper heat and were no longer surviving on space heaters. Aside from that, the price was very reasonable and Rick seemed to genuinely want to help us and not just sell me more things than what we needed at the time. I noticed that this guy had some very good things written about him and let me tell you they were spot on! Rick showed up Sunday morning within 90 minutes of making contact. He diagnosed the problem and found the issue instantly. Luckily he had the part for my older model in his truck. Not only did he install the part necessary he also did the maintenance required to keep us warm all winter.
